Article 5.2 of the Buildings Decree stipulates that in order to limit heat loss by transmission or conduction, the thermal resistance of structures should be at least 2.5 (m2-K/W) This relates to the following structures: • external partitioning structures of an accommodation area, toilet or bathroom and the crawl space • internal partitioning structures of an accommodation area, toilet or bathroom, insofar that they do not form a partition with another accommodation area, toilet or bathroom.
