Now there is a new addition to the Fermacell family. The Powerpanel HD building board now has a sister product: the new Powerpanel H20. Its principal areas of application are domestic kitchens and bathrooms, as well as wet processing rooms in commercial and industrial premises, where the walls are exposed to sustained wetting by water.
Water? No problem: just relax and enjoy it!
Whether in swimming pools, fitness suites, catering areas or abattoirs, the cement-based Powerpanel H20 provides the perfect base for tiling and other wall finishes. Even sustained exposure to water has no effect on Powerpanel H20. So you can build with confidence for the long term. In the domestic housing market the refurbishment of bathrooms and kitchens always represents a sound and worthwhile investment for the future.
The new Powerpanel H20 is as simple to install as it is effective. It relies on the same simple construction techniques used with standard plasterboard materials. The boards are easily cut to size by scoring and breaking – or they can be cut with a portable circular saw. They are then fixed to a stud framework using FERMACELL drywall screws. Job done! The Powerpanel H20 offers significantly more protection and security when planning and constructing wet rooms for demanding exposure conditions. Installation is simple and straightforward – same procedure as for FERMACELL gypsum fibreboards.
